Film crews from the hit show “Wicked Tuna” have begun filming out of Oregon Inlet for a new spinoff series set to premiere later this year on National Geographic Channel. The new “Wicked Tuna” series pits the boys from New England against the local Southern Boys in a fierce competition; and for good reason.
Yesterday the Fin Planner, captained by Tony Tillett, saw five bluefin bites, with one pulling the hook and the largest caught measuring 88 inches and around 425 lbs.
