 Welcome to Fin Planner Sportfishing.

The Fin Planner is a 58 foot custom Carolina Sportfisher. We take pride in keeping the boat in pristine condition. In 2019, she received an entire new paint job and new twin MAN 1000 HP motors each, which allows her to cruise at 30 knots. Fin Planner is equipped with the most up to date safety equipment including a life raft. The boat has the finest tackle and electronics along with a TV and stereo with Bluetooth that allows you to play your own music, plus 3 fighting chairs and a mezzanine. The Fin Planner also has 3 air conditioners to keep you cool on sunny days. Captain Chris Gornell and mate, Danny Prettyman have together been a tournament winning fishing team for the last 8 years. Both have been mating and running boats their entire lives. They make every effort to put you on the fish as well as making your trip fun and safe. Check our fishing reports to see the latest action, our seasonal fish chart to see what will be lurking the waters and our rates or information page to help you prepare for your trip.

Well the day started out slow but we had some really awesome bites in the afternoon. Catch 1 out of a double of nice blue ones and a 208 lb big eye and a wahoo that was a request at the beginning of the day. Sometimes it just works out got to keep pushing ahead. πŸ‘πŸ»
